I’m a Colombian-American multi-instrumentalist and composer based in Brooklyn, NY. I grew up in a family of botanists, exploring the wild corners of the world, building rich experiences that come through in my music and storytelling. I’ve also developed a wide portfolio of work in media, from work in conservation and fine art to commercial and political work in camera departments across the country. I was a freelance video team member for the Biden campaign, and pride myself on maintaining a deeply rooted connection to the politics of labor, the environment, and democratic progress.
My musical background is mainly classical, studying piano and violin from a young age and playing and performing across the country in venues as wide ranging from Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood to tiny backyards and basements throughout the city. In the past couple years, I’ve developed a strong interest in genres such as bluegrass, folk, and jazz (and everything in between). On a personal front, I’m working on my first opera, due to premiere in 2023.
I’m currently fully freelance, and always looking to develop new connections with creatives, agencies, and companies both state-side and abroad. I’m fluent in French and Spanish, and am always looking for weird jobs and projects to jump in to.
